August 24, 2005 - Back from World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne, Germany. It was an incredible and moving experience and I hope I will be able to attend World Youth Day 2008 in Sydney, Australia.
August 7, 2005 - RSI '05, an incredible overall experience, is now over. And it was good :)
May 23, 2005 - Spring 2005 is now over; starting up research at CSAIL and tutoring RSI '05 this summer.
March 21, 2005 - Back home in Michigan for Spring Break :) Happy Easter to all!

October 20, 2004 - Another temporal milestone is attained, as I turned 21 today. Many heartfelt thanks to all those who sent greetings and best wishes. I can now purchase alcohol and rent cars!

September 4, 2004 - Back at MIT, getting ready for senior year's first semester!
August 16, 2004 - Flying back home to Michigan after a great weekend in Boston.
August 12, 2004 - In Boston for the weekend for RSI's 20^th year reunion.
August 11, 2004 - Back home in Michigan after a very enjoyable and amazing European vacation.
August 4, 2004 - Was blessed to meet Pope John Paul II at his summer residence of Castelgandolfo, just outside of Rome. I was amazed by the aura of calm, peace and sanctity that surrounded the pontiff. I am still amazed that I was able to meet him, and am thankful to God for providing the opportunity.
July 8, 2004 - Flying out to Europe today -- I'll be back in early mid August.

June 5, 2004 - Visiting MIT for just a day. Also, today is dominik.net's 5^th birthday.

February 3, 2004 - After five semesters of hard work, I've decided to take a semester off of MIT to relax, rest and see the world a bit. Once I start traveling, expect some nice updates to dominik.net.
December 10, 2003 - Last day of classes. Another semester draws to a close.
November 16, 2003 - Flew out and back to DC this weekend. 'Twas fun and significantly warmer than Boston!
October 20, 2003 - My days as a teenager are now officially over. I am now twenty years old. Thanks to all who sent birthday greetings and cheer :)
September 27, 2003 - My fifth semester at MIT is rolling along. It is hard to believe a month of college has already zoomed by.
August 27, 2003 - Driving up to MIT tomorrow. Looking forward to semester five.
August 15, 2003 - My 12 week internship at Microsoft is over. Flying back to Michigan tomorrow. Summer flew by...
August 5, 2003 - Wow, it's August. Well, I'm moving my blog to legacy, since I almost never updated it... Ten more days here at Microsoft. It's been a good summer :)
July 15, 2003 - Met Bill Gates this evening at a barbeque for Microsoft Interns held at his house. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how personable and intelligent he turned out to be.
June 27, 2003 - I begin my foray into the world of weblogging with dominik.net/blog.
May 26, 2003 - I'm flying out to Redmond, WA for my summer internship with Microsoft. Looks to be a fun summer on the West Coast :)
May 22, 2003 - Done with finals. I'm now halfway through MIT, though I find that a little hard to believe...
May 20, 2003 - My photo looking back at a final exam has been put up on the ever-changing MIT homepage. In other news, I have my two finals Wednesday and Thursday! Wish me luck :)

September 3, 2002 - All signed up for classes and ready to go! My first RoadJournal is now online over at MyRoad.com.
August 31, 2002 - Back at MIT and getting ready for the upcoming school year.
August 27, 2002 - Back from an amazing, relaxing and fun trip to Pol and! Now gearing up for MIT in less than a week... so much for summer.
August 7, 2002 - I'm off to Poland later today for most of the rest of August. Warsaw, Krakow, Czestochowa and Zakopane are some of the cities and sites I'll visit. I'll be away from e-mail while I'm overseas. Once I get back, I'll try to put my photos and journal together into a dominik.net/poland ;)
August 4, 2002 - It's hard to believe, but an incredible RSI 2002 has come to an end. Thank you to everyone for the awesome experiences! Off back to Michigan tomorrow.
July 25, 2002 - Seven years ago today, I first logged onto the Internet. Today is my seventh Internet birthday!
July 23, 2002 - Summer is proceeding along splendidly. It's hard to believe that the Research Science Institute is almost over!

July 15, 2002 - Back from an amazing trip to the White Mountains. The hike up to snow-level was immensely fun.
July 13, 2002 - I'm off to the White Mountains for this weekend, to visit the Flume Gorge and Mt. Washington.
June 20, 2002 - Back at MIT for the Research Science Institute, where this time around I'm a counselor instead of a student. Looking forward to a fun summer!
May 24, 2002 - Finally done with finals! MIT is over, for now. Looking forward to a blissful summer :) This has been an awesome and amazing year.
April 27, 2002 - Back at MIT after an incredible two-days in New York... returning to 256 e-mail messages. Just four weeks of school left!
April 25, 2002 - I'm in New York as part of the Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program. I'll be back on the 27^th.
April 16, 2002 - Back at MIT to 388 e-mail messages. Hard to believe the year is almost over.
April 12, 2002 - Going home for Patriot's Day. I'll return to take a flurry of exams. In the meanwhile, I'll be away from both e-mail and IM... if you need to contact me, try telephone.
April 10, 2002 - Just received word that I've been selected as a Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Scholar. Hurrah!
March 31, 2002 - Back at MIT, for Spring 2002 Quarter 2. Happy Easter!

March 22, 2002 - Well, Spring Break is finally here! I'm off home until April. When I come back Spring 2002 Quarter 2 starts up.
March 18, 2002 - My fellow traveler in my Travels in Japan, Debra Hsiung, has posted her travelogue, Treks in Japan. In other news, I'm now about half way done with second semester. Looking forward to Spring Break next week :)
March 2, 2002 - The 2001 Presidential Scholars Cambridge Reunion went well. It honestly doesn't feel like that much time since June 2001. Second semester of college already...
February 24, 2002 - Weighing in at over 25,000 words and 500 photos, my Travels in Japan: Operation Cherry Blossom Travelogue is up, bringing with it new Travel and Photos segments.
February 5, 2002 - Classes at MIT have started again. I've put up my Spring Schedule as well as the classes I'm taking. It looks to be a busy and fun semester!
February 2, 2002 - dominik.net's Press segment is launched, ranging from local to national coverage. Happy Groundhog Day! Also, just got back to MIT -- looking forward to next semester!
February 1, 2002 - Some minor reorganizations on dominik.net. New segments Poetry and Legacy join an expanded Thoughts in making dominik.net's navigation more logical.
January 28, 2002 - Last night, while Mom, Dad and I were walking the dog, it was an unusually bright night. We looked up at the moon and saw an amazing pale colored halo around it -- and immediately ran back to snap photos of the "moonbow" (after some tweaking with exposure time to get it to come out). The effect was pretty amazing: a circular pale rainbow around the moon.
January 22, 2002 - Back from an amazing trip to Japan. Wow. That was fun! Photos and travelogue should be up before March. For now, sorting through the 792 e-mail messages I got while I was gone...
January 9, 2002 - I'm away in Japan, visiting Tokyo and Kyoto as part of the US Army's Operation Cherry Blossom. Award co-recipient Debra Hsiung and I will tour the cities and represent the US at the Japan Student Science Awards Ceremony. I'll be away from e-mail until I get back on January 22^nd.

December 24, 2001 - dominik.net is Christmasized for the 3^rd consecutive year. Also, my interview with myroad.com is up. Additionally, Human Dust Alive, my second anthology of inspirational poetry and prayer, is launched.

October 31, 2001 - I've added my Quarter 2 Schedule.
October 20, 2001 - Hurrah! Today is my 18^th birthday. Now I can do all sorts of cool things, such as vote. In honor of the occasion, I've made some small modifications to dominik.net's design.
October 3, 2001 - After finishing up my first three MIT exams, I've built a small About Dominik section, including some interesting facts and various favorites of mine. My 18^th birthday draws ever closer :)
September 12, 2001 - In the wake of the great tragedy that has shaken our nation, I have posted my reflections on September 11^th.
September 6, 2001 - MIT classes are underway. It looks to be a fun and intense year at college.
August 20, 2001 - Well, MIT starts tomorrow. I'm excited and am experiencing both happiness and sadness simultaneously. Here's to the next big step! :)
August 2, 2001 - Vast site updates across the board. Items of note include some Lucent photos, information on my research and updates to my résumé.
July 27, 2001 - Back from an amazing Lucent Global Science Scholars Summit, after 6 hours of flight cancellations and delays. Also, found an amazing 456 e-mails in my inbox...
July 20, 2001 - I'll be in New York and New Jersey as part of Lucent Global Science Scholars. I'll be back in a week :)
July 9, 2001 - As MIT draws nigh, I've added a countdown above.
June 29, 2001 - I've returned from DC, after having two flights cancelled and my luggage lost. I've uploaded some photos into Shared.
June 22, 2001 - I will be in Washington, DC from June 23^rd through the 28^th for Presidential Scholars, where I'll get to meet President Bush and shake his hand too. And with luck, I'll be able to stay away from e-mail this time... unless there's a computer in my hotel room again...
May 25, 2001 - Can you say graduation? Hurrah! High School is over! Gave my valedictorian speech and now I'm free! Until August, when MIT's Orientation starts! :)
May 16, 2001 - Grab a USA Today tomorrow :) Some good news in there, also on the web.
May 5, 2001 - Even more travels :) I'll be in San José through May 12^th for the 2001 Intel ISEF. If you're around, my booth number is CS026, so feel free to visit. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to check e-mail there, so message replies may be delayed.
April 24, 2001 - More travels :) I'll be in Orlando and Atlanta from April 25 through April 29. Also, I launched the Shared segment, something akin to a virtual outbox.
April 23, 2001 - I'm back from California, returning to 135 e-mail messages in 4 days. I have also made my college decision and am matriculating in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this Fall.
April 19, 2001 - I am in California until April 23. E-mail will again be checked fairly rarely.
April 9, 2001 - Today at Harvard, I dropped by the admission office to see if I was accepted. The front desk told me that they would have to give that information to me over the phone, so I walked down the hall and called them from a pay phone . Happily, I was accepted :) Also, I'm back home now... to 152 e-mail messages in 4 days.
April 5, 2001 - I'll be in Cambridge, MA from today through Monday, April 9, (mostly) away from e-mail and phone.
April 4, 2001 - I got a college letter in the mail today and found I was accepted at Stanford!
March 25, 2001 - Now the home page randomly spins through photos of me.
March 23, 2001 - The phone rang, I picked it up and it turned out I was accepted at Caltech! Wow... these Colleges are coming right after each other.
March 22, 2001 - Well, a fat letter came in the mail today... it even was labelled as the fat letter! Carnegie Mellon told me that they accepted me and also awarded me the Andrew Carnegie Merit scholarship. Wow... good things keep happ ening!
March 15, 2001 - Wonderful things keep happening! Let's see... I have the honor of being the Junior Achievement Walt Disney Company Foundation Scholarship Winner. Also, I'm going to the National Junior Science & Humanities Symposium in Or lando as I won my state last week. Thank you God for making all of this possible! As Disney puts it, magic made real!
March 5, 2001 - Minor résumé update; also a nice mini-biography paragraph over in Personal.
March 1, 2001 - A nice envelope came in the mail, letting me know that I'm a Coca-Cola Scholars Finalist. Yay, a free trip to Atlanta in April! :)

February 15, 2001 - I added a paybox to Return to the Path. If you like the poetry a lot, you can contribute via a donation. But it remains free as always :) Also, on another note, the MathCounts team I coach took first in the chapter and also captured 1^st and 3^rd individual prizes!
February 13, 2001 - A large bulky envelope arrived in the mail... and it turns out I'm accepted at Yale! Yay :) See the rest of the places I'm applying in College Plans.
January 16, 2001 - Return to the Path now has RealAudio files of me reading the poems aloud.
January 6, 2001 - dominik.net is back to normal, except for we're in the new millennium now :P
December 24, 2000 - I added Ecards to spread some holiday joy. At the moment you can only pick them up... I just sent fifty-some out :) I like building these web projects over an evening and a morning :)
December 23, 2000 - For the second straight year, I continue the tradition of redoing dominik.net into Christmas colors. I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Millennium (the real one starts in 2001)! Happy Holidays!
December 16, 2000 - Admission. We have admission. Today, beneath a foot of snow that was slowly melting, the postman came, stuffed a large envelope in the mailbox... and it turned out that I'm accepted at MIT! Hurrah! Dreams come true! Ear ly Admission In!
December 14, 2000 - Yay! My first acceptance came back... Michigan decided that they liked me enough to send me a nice letter. More on where I'm applying in College. We're still under a foot of snow here... I need to go skiing sometime :)
November 22, 2000 - Have a Happy Thanksgiving, wherever you are! Here in Michigan, we have about a foot of snow, but it's fun :)
November 11, 2000 - I added "fish-eye" navigation to the navigation bar so that it'll be easier to browse similar items.
November 9, 2000 - Electoral Chaos! It appears that the election for the 43^rd President of these United States is too close to call. To compound the problem, the ballots in key counties are very bad from a human interface perspecti ve. Support the petition for a revote in Palm Beach County so that the President, whoever it will be, will be confident in his own legitimacy.
October 20, 2000 - On the occasion of my 17^th birthday, I've launched a complete redesign of dominik.net. The new look is simpler, more efficient and concentrates on the content.
October 18, 2000 - I've added a site for the MathCounts team that I coach.
October 9, 2000 - I've added a scan of a newspaper article talking about my summer experience. I've also added a link to photos of me to Personal.
October 2, 2000 - Senior year is incredibly busy -- but still, a lot of fun.
September 18, 2000 - I added some major updates to my résumé and also optimized Start so that the database is 3,000 times more efficient :) Ah, the power of CREATE INDEX...
August 13, 2000 - Well, I am finally home after my long time away. dominik.net updates will be forthcoming gradually, after I finish dual-booting my machine with NT and Linux. I hope post photos from my travels, as well as my memoirs.
July 27, 2000 - I added a Google Search page.
July 26, 2000 - As the shirt design has been chosen, and the summerbook biographies are now due, the RSI Quote and Shirt pages have been retired.
July 19, 2000 - Small addition of the RSI Quote Wall.
July 18, 2000 - I added a small page to provide collaboration on the selection of the RSI Shirt.
July 11, 2000 - Just some minor résumé updates, as well (finally!) some information on the Business page.
July 3, 2000 - I'm spending seven weeks in Cambridge, so dominik.net updates are very sparse. When I return, I will write about my experiences :)
June 4, 2000 - I added my photo to Personal and also cleaned-up the homepage. It's also worth noting that tomorrow is dominik.net's 1st birthday.
June 1, 2000 - dominik.net/physics has been selected as one of 11 finalists for the Second ArsDigita Prize. Hurrah!
May 20, 2000 - I added a photo of me to my Résumé.
May 18, 2000 - My Physics segment is now in the Second ArsDigita Prize. Please cast your vote of support!
May 13, 2000 - Start adds real-time news headlines.
May 11, 2000 - I launch my Physics segment of dominik.net. Check it out, it has some great reviews of Physics web sites.
May 6, 2000 - A revived and different dominik.net Start is added.
May 4, 2000 - I added the College Plans segment as well as the Contact Me page.
May 3, 2000 - Framework is added to dominik.net. This gives dominik.net a database-backed interface that makes it easier to update and more extensible. It also allows all sorts of cool features, like comments or a Gue stbook as well as a breadcrumb trail (links back to previous sections in the hierarchy).
April 8, 2000 - dominik.net is undergoing some tweaking with its innards. You won't see anything different (yet), but the improved mySQL/PHP3 Framework structure will enable features that haven't been possible before. Note: Due to instability in mySQL that is currently beyond my control, some pages may not display correctly. This problem should go away in a week. For the most part, however, all pages will work as expected.
March 7, 2000 - I added an Atomz.com Search Engine. Atomz.com is really a great service and if you have a web site that doesn't have a search engine, I highly recommend them.
March 5, 2000 - dominik.net gets a new look. The site now is in the "adding-content" phase so expect it to grow gradually over the coming months. It is, after all, the second semester of my junior year.
January 3, 2000 - After some strange technical problems looking at the site with the new font, I've returned to Tahoma...
January 2, 2000 - I've changed dominik.net's font. [Note: This font was buggy].
January 1, 2000 - Happy Y2K! dominik.net will be up in the month of January -- I'm going all out :) [I guess you have to stretch my definition of 'up']
December 30, 1999 - Happy New Year 2000!
December 24, 1999 - I've Christmas-ized dominik.net and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! [The Christmas-ized dominik.net looked really cool -- red & green]
December 18, 1999 - I added a few books to the bookshop. The ones marked with a holly leaf () are ones that I don't have yet, and that would make great gifts! [The holly leaf isn't there anymore, but the books are !]
December 17, 1999 - I took the SAT on December 4... and today I called to find out my scores. I'm extremely happy to say I got a perfect 1600! Woohoo! Thank you God for making this possible!
December 16, 1999 - Well, the year winds down. I just finished with my last exam of the century and am glad that Christmas Vacation is only a few days away. Merry Christmas & Happy Y2K to everyone out there and look for dominik.net to launch on Y2k! [Y2K is the entire year... ;)]
November 21, 1999 - I renovated the front page to look like the new design. Work is progressing well on the new site and I will add more things to buy for christmas soon. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
On a side note, I am thinking about shutting down Start. Other web portals, such as Yahoo! and Excite have greater and more customizable offerings. I also have a new Palm IIIe which lets me read news and weather anywhere... [Start has b een since shutdown. I recommend My Yahoo for your personalized portal needs]
October 20, 1999 - Yay! Today is my 16th Birthday! Thanks to everyone who sent cards, songs and hugs :) I'm now 16 years old!
On a design note, I have decided not to display any ads in the new dominik.net! Thanks for voting in the poll, everyone :)
October 10, 1999 - Design on the new site is going well, but it will be put off on hold for a time as the PSAT approaches. I added a small bookshop.
October 7, 1999 - My birthday is on the 20th! On a related note, here's a really good book on web design that I highly recommend:

As for my birthday, I will be turning 16 :) If you like, you can send me an e-card.

September 29, 1999 - Well... after a long update drought, I am happy to announce that dominik.start has been fully revitalized and debugged and is now fully enabled after a few weeks lull. Also, I have started tenatively on the *new* dominik.net design, take a look at it. [Start has since been shutdown.]
August 31, 1999 - I've added the Webshots banner to the top of this page. It is a highly recommended program. Check it out :) [No more advertisements!]
August 28, 1999 - I've decided to push back the dominik.net release date to January 1, 2000. The reason I'm doing this is because I feel that I need to take good time to make it quality, and also because school starts full force and I have little time. [This r elease date was pushed even further back.]
August 17, 1999 - After a marathon session, I finished the Teenage Health Interactive Network. Check out this great resource @ http://library.advanced.org/29500/.
August 1, 1999 - I added the purchase online ability to Wage Timer as well as the news@dominik.net informational mailing list. I also added the Rosary link at the bottom of the page, because God is the ultimate sponsor!
July 31, 1999 - I opened the following areas:
- Return to the Path - An anthology of inspirational poetry I composed over the course of 1998.
- Wage Timer - A small program I have written that simplifies keeping track of how long you've been working and how much money you've been making.
- dominik.net start - My personal start page, with news, weather, stock quotes and comics supplied automatically by java and cgi programs I have written. [Start was shut down in March 2000.]
